    Apra Australia invites you to join us for our upcoming virtual lunch and networking session for Prospect Research professionals in Australia and New Zealand, to be held on Friday, October 3rd at 12:00 pm.

    This session will feature a panel of four senior prospect research & development professionals in an "Ask me anything" format, where you will have the opportunity to hear directly from leaders in the field, ask your burning questions, and gain practical insights into the latest tools, trends, and strategies for prospect development.

    Joining us on the day will be:

    • Mark Mahony.
      Manager, Prospect Development & Strategy, UNSW.
      Mark currently leads UNSW's Prospect Development & Strategy team and has over 12 years' experience in prospect research across higher education, visual arts, and consultancy, specialising in bespoke research, pipeline strategy, and portfolio construction and optimisation
    • Peter Demertzidis.
      Senior Prospect Researcher, World Vision Australia.
      Peter has over 13 years' experience in Advancement Services and Prospect Research & Development across higher education and international development. 
    • Edwina Kenrick.
      Associate Director, Prospect Research & Management, The University of Melbourne.
      Edwina leads The University of Melbourne's Prospect Research & Management team, and has 20 years' experience leading one of Australia's most successful Prospect Research teams.
    • Molly Masiello.
      Director, Fundraising Research & Consulting.
      Molly leads Australia's largest prospect research consultancy, FR&C, specialising in wealth screening, prospect identification, and major gift program development.
      She has over 15 years' experience in prospect research and development in Australia and the United States.

    Join us for the 2025 Apra Australia Conference on Friday 14th of November from 9am (registrations open from 8:30am) in person at the QIMR Berghofer, 300 Herston Road, Herston, Brisbane, Queensland.

    As in previous years, there will be a pre-conference welcome event on the evening on Thursday 13th of November from 5.30pm, and a post-conference social event from 5.30pm on Friday the 14th of November. More details to follow.

    Getting to the conference venue once in Brisbane and venue parking:

    The Brisbane Metro (M1) bus runs every 5 minutes and stops at Herston Station and the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital (RBWH) Station. Both are a 5 minute walk to QIMR Berghofer.

    Cornerstone Parking, located directly opposite QIMR Berghofer, offers casual parking to visitors at $45 per day. There is a pedestrian footbridge on level 3 of this car park, providing direct access to the RBWH.

    Limited metered parking is also available in the surrounding area.
